Mrs. Alex McClain, who has been in poor health for several months, died at her home South of Milligan on Tuesday morning of last week. Funeral services at the home on Thursday afternoon in charge of Rev. Cornelius Airhert. Burial at Mt. Moriah. Mrs. McClain was born Jan 24, 1871 and was the daughter of David and Sarah Starks Alexander. She married Mr. McClain April 13, 1893, who survives her as also a son, Dale, living near Parkeville and two daughters, Lucille and Helen, who are at home. Miss Lucille teaches in the Greencastle schools and Miss Helen is in the Mellott schools. - kbz
